MERV SLOTNICK

Born 1941 in Lansing, Michigan, Slotnick is a abstract expressionist known for his works on paper, sculpture, conceptual art. He received degrees from Adrian College, Central Michigan University, with additional work at Michigan State University and did his first etchings in 1965 under the supervision of Theo Wujcik at the Center For Creative Arts, in Detroit, Michigan. Slotnick was one of only 50 artists invited to exhibit in 2003's 'SANCTUARY' Exhibition at the Nobel Peace Prize Forum held in the U.S. to honor the 100th anniversary of the Nobel Peace Prize. His work can be found in collections worldwide.

The artist resides in Maine.
